If you want to see the "advertised" speeds then run the Atto disk benchmark using 100% compressible data and you'll see them.

As-ssd uses incompressible data to test. Your drive doesn't handle incompressible data like it does compressible data.

Follow the link in my sig and compare your scores to my Vertex 3 max iops. It and the Hyper-x will be similar in testing.

Guys, you do not have to reformat to from achi to ide or the reverse.

ty msg75, managed to get the speeds. ive heard that AS SSD was a real world benchmark, which is nice, but i wanted to make sure that my ssd was not just lacking due to failure to set up or a defective drive.

wow DooRules that would have been a lot quicker than reinstalling lol. however what is done is done, and a 15 minute install isnt half bad smile.gif its not like when i had to reinstall windows on my 1.5 TB hard drive... which was nearly maxed on data. 12 hours of my life ill never get back
