Upgrading from xfire 6870s?

Hey guys,

I currently have 2 xfx double d 6870s and I was considering upgrading to a single GPU with the future in mind. What do you guys think? Are my 6870s good enough? Personally I havent found anything that they cant handle.

So I figure I could sell both for roughly 300$.

Thoughts about an upgrade?

If they're doing just fine as they are now why upgrade? The only pros you'll get are that you gain a few extra FPS in games and that your system my run a little cooler.

I'd stick with your XFire set up if you're not seeing any issues. smile.gif

That occurred to me as well. Thanks.

You're Xfire still beats a single card dual gpu solution. Keep it. smile.gif

Thats what I was considering purchasing after selling the 6870s. They have not given me any trouble and perform incredibly with any games I play with them.

I guess if they work there is no sense changing them out.

I see absolutely no reason for you to change them, they are still good cards and as you said perform extremely well. Ride them until they burn.
