Call ebuyer and tell them that what they're quoting is not applicable to the consumer electronics market .. and ask for someone higher up in the food chain... it's the first time I hear about such crap from ebuyer.

And if you can't sort it out get this, it's a Much better deal.

Is HX better? (AX is higher on alphabet, so I'm just taking a stab. Can't look it up ATM.)

Why are you looking at 850w units to buy.....when your rig draws maybe 400w at most full system load?

Again, your computer would be fine off a Corsair CX430 honestly. There is absolutely no reason you should be blowing money on an 850w unit with your sig rig....even if you want to SLI in the future. Get your FULL refund, get a good quality 650w unit (leaves PLENTY of room for SLI 680's in the future), and save the rest of your cash for something else.

i think the bigger picture issue here is that the OP needs to get his PSU back from the retailer, and send it to Corsair directly...

unless there's something missing about his story.
