Overall, im fine with the internet connection being required as the item drops and other things are streamed to you, and there is no real way to hack this. However, I wonder how they are going to deal with ninja looters?

If I keep my unconstructive criticism to myself Diablo 4 will be release in 12 months and play like COD. I don't really care that much about Diablo you'd think you fanboys would actually defend your own game but your just defending Blizzards bad decisions.

This has nothing to do with stopping cheaters.

Not a problem.

Quoted from their wiki
Quote:
Instead of the same loot dropping for all players when a monster dies (like in Diablo II), the monster drops loot for each player that only he or she can see and pickup. If a player picks up the item and drops it back on the ground, any other player can see it and pick it up.

Well if my copy of Diablo 3 was burning in a fire and you were next to it, I'd save my copy of Diablo 3. There ya go, that's me defending my own game. Happy now?!

Yeh because when you had to play super mario bros you had to hook up to the interwebs to play AMIRITE?

Obvious DRM is obvious. Please continue to pretend thats it not DRM. And please keep stripping us of past features and advancements and defend it. Gaming is suffering because of idiots like you.

It's not DRM because it's almost impossible to own a computer and not have access to an internet connection. If worse comes to worse, anyone can get a cellular connection and a data plan. Diablo isn't an offline game. Never was, never will be.

My My arent we a ray of sunshines today. I dont think Blizzard needs the criticism to do what they do best, last I checked there was a bunch of pressure for D3 and Warcraft 4, It took them nearly 12 years till D3 is released. And well Warcraft 4 is not even announced yet.

There could still be a single player that cant be used online ever. Now you have a closed system for people to enjoy offline and you dont have to worry about hacks.
Please keep pretending its not DRM blind fanboy. Actually I'd rather Diablo and WoWtards pay a bunch of $$$ to blizzard so SC2 doesnt have to hmm...
HEY GUYS this is a good thing. I hope they release lots of map packs and stuff too so we can support blizzard blindly and completely yeh! Maybe they will take away right click and we can buy right click function as DLC for $15.

You obviously have never played Diablo, the expansion Hellfire, Diablo II or Lord of Destruction and therefor do not know how big this game is, how long we have been waiting for it - BECAUSE Blizzard WANTS to put out a game that the community wants. This isn't another garbage rehash of a game we had last year. As another user has said, we have waited almost 12 years for this. I don't mind needing an always on internet connection if it means few to no cheaters online, balanced game play, and an overall awesome experience.

I laugh at the owner of D2JSP, making a trading section for Diablo 3. With the auction house and such JSP is a waste of time. JSP was cool for Diablo 2 but I'm going to laugh if anyone actually uses JSP for trading as all the most desired items will not be selling for a virtual coin but real money right directly through the auction house. In my opinion if your a true Diablo fan you will up and forget D2JSP why support a website (anymore) when the actual game developers listened and put an auction house what was clearly needed.
