ok i made today this one thing because my front fan makes so much noise that sometimes im thinking that i live in airport ( but this one has a lot potencial huge flow rate), and yeah its the simpliest controller smile.gif
btw maybe somene has made one too? and can share some tech details because im thinking to make good one and for maybe 4 fans smile.gif

this one is even too simple, only two 5k potenciometers and pair of 3pin connections smile.gif one i made for 5v rail other for 12v rail and thats all biggrin.gif
im looking at this one specific controller,because its simple too and if get some extra money you can add some kind a VU meter with leds that shows up speed in a light bar

Im guessing variable resistor (potentiometer), some of that custom PCB stuff, toggle switch and wires?
I did something similar but without the PCB and was on my case door
but it looks nice

ok jsut brought some electronics stuff today im gonna make that controller, and all parts cost around 7 bucks smile.gif so update as soon as i finish ti

What I want to know, is how you're even getting the POT to work. Last time I tried this out, it required specific resistors that depended on how many fans were to be used (amperage pull), and even then, the POT's only worked roughly the last 1/4. Once you turned the knob below 3/4 of the way, the fans would turn completely off.
