HELP ME FIND A NEW MOUSE!! -.-

I can't make my mind on wich mouse i should buy... there's so many out there like the sensei , 3.0 ,etc...i know i already made multiple threads about wich mouse should i buy but i just cant make my mind!!

I dont really have a budget so i dont really care how much it costs.
I used an intellimouse 1.1a before and now im using an mx518, their both great to me but their both like 2-3 years old so i decided i should buy a new one. I don't really want an G400 ( i know many of you will suggest that) since i already got a mx518 and i wanna try something new.

Until now i only used optical mices but i dont care if it's laser but it must be really good!!! I play on low sensitivity from 400-700 max depends on wich mouse and i use 125hz with both , my 1.1 and mx518.

So yea please explain why should i buy the mouse you suggest and what is good about them!!

thanks for the help in advance.

If you don't want a G400 (Which I loveee) Then the next thing that's on my list is the Razer Deathadder that's actually an infrared mouse.

Right, you wanted a reason too. Well I used my friends Deathadder and the thing i LOVE about it is the soft rubber feel of the mouse that makes using it a real pleasure. There's also the scroll wheel of the mouse that is either good for some and bad for others, I personally enjoy it since it sort of glides when scrolling through long pages.

I started with the mx518, got bored and picked up a ms X5 for cheap..what a piece of poop. Got a deathadder, I really like the mouse aside from the design. It looked big enough, but I have giant hands that just doesn't work well with the hunched design at the back. As a result my pinky is often dragging off the mouse and my palm doesn't really rest on the mouse at all. It's a great mouse, if only my hands were smaller.

I looked into the cyborg rat series, really love the fact that you can make it fatter, bigger, etc. Reading some reviews I decided against it, apparently build quality is questionable. I picked up a logitech G9x today, it might look small but with the bigger grip and some weights it feels amazing. Finally I can actually rest my hands on a mouse!

3.0 is the one my friend has but I have no experience with the 3.5 so I can't really steer you in either direction. I have seen conflicting things between them so if it were me I'd go with the 3.0 since it's tried and true for me.

If you plan on getting the DeathAdder, take the black edition. It has matte sides instead of shiny black ones and is much less prone to fingerprints/sweat.
I'm also using a DeathAdder 3.5G + Steelseries QcK for 1,5 years now as a low/mid sens palm grip gamer. The only flaws for me are the glossy sides as mentioned before and the position of the skates. The rear (largest) one isn't thick enough so the plastic bottom of the mouse drags over your surface/mouse pad. But I fixed that by putting two layers of double-sided tape (~1 mm) between the mouse and the skate, it's sliding effortless now.
The shape of the mouse might form a problem for some low sens gamers, since the lift-off distance is pretty high and the shape of the mouse can make lifting difficult (not in my case though).

I was in the same boat as you OP, I spent yesterday and today reading and watching video reviews of mice and It came down to:

Logitech G9X
Logitech-G9X-Gaming-Mouse-multiple-views.jpg

Corsair M60
corsair-vengeance-m60-performance-mouse-2-453.jpg

G9X was on top on every review site I saw, but that might be because the Corsair M60 has just been released. Despite liking the Corsair design more, I ultimately went with the Logitech because I already have a Logitech keyboard and software installed which will recognize the G9X.

If you like the M60, there is a MMO version with more buttons called M90.

I have a friend that keeps buying Razr mice because they keep peeling or breaking. My Logitech keyboard + mice combo have lasted for years. Only reason I am buying another mouse is because I want a corded one.

It was enough to make me gag a little bit tongue.gif but your point came across well.

@Angbog it seems you have quite the number of recommendations already, maybe at this point it's now more of a refinement of your tastes in how you play games etc? For example if you like high sensitivities then one mouse might be good for that or low sensitivity you can go another way. You could even go as far as the weight of the mouse but I never truly understood the concept of that.

Get back to us so we can hear your decision or help you further refine what mouse is best for you ^_^

Zowie EC2 Evo.

125hz with no software.

Totally solid sensor that can handle arm movements.

All matte finish (although for some this is a deal breaker.)

More comfortable than the 518/G400 shape (imo).

I played with a 1.1 for forever until I got an EC. Now my 1.1 is in a big bag with the rest of 'em. rolleyes.gif
