Owned multiple XFX and MSI cards and I will tell you MSI is WAY better.

XFX have void stickers, powercolor doesnt void warranty when removing.

Seriously?

How hard did you try before replying? Did you bother to double check what I wrote??

Removal and/or damaging of the SN/PN sticker(s) on all PowerColor products will void all warranties associated with that product.

So I don't know if they apply the warranty ''by the book'', but know that just removing the backplate broke the sticker. So if you want to use a waterblock with your 6990, I don't know what they will do if you return your card with that warranty void sticker broken. They will know you removed the stock cooler. It's impossible to remove it without them knowing.

I had to remove the EK waterblock on my Powercolor to check contacts with thermal pads and how they applied the paste. So I ''voided'' my warranty. The sticker shows ''warranty void''. smile.gif

I really hope someone with a Powercolor card who did a RMA after using a waterblock would chime in. Because I don't have any experience with them. I'm curious.

My Powercolor 6970 LCS came out at 325$ with manufacturer rebate and Newegg coupons. So I got a free EK-6970 waterblock. smile.gif

Take note of weho the poster above is btw.

Those 2 cards are the exact same thing with a different sticker slapped on them.
