Why say that admit defeat then continue to argue, I am surprised this thread wasn't locked ages ago.
Oh and I am for w/e team is giving me the best price and performance at the time. If I stayed in the us it would be the 670 - no brainer - at $400 vs the 7970 at about $460-480.
Tho here in the uk the difference between the 670 and the 7970 is not much at all so I would rather have the top flagship of one team than the second best of another at almost the same price tho thats just imo.
Actually lol looking back over recent prices at all the retailers in the uk inlcuding amazon uk our 7 series prices have shot up!
So I guess amd is like well ye no nvidia stock lets raise our prices back up, damn I should have grabbed one when they first lowered the price.
Trying to find a custom cooled 7970 is going to set you back about £390-£400 while the 670 windforce is £350.
So again I guess the 670 is better value atm.
Will wait till the end of the month to buy a card hopefully by then the 7970's are down again.
Lol wait another update can get the asus triple slot 7970 for £360 from ocuk making it about the same price as the 670 windforce. I guess at those prices it's w/e brand you prefer.
