So...did you find that was the only way you could run the 120mm rad?
I am interested in trying to get it to run the other way up so I can have the GPU in the first slot

You can run the 120 rad the other way. It just changes the way you would run your tubing. In my case, I did not like how the tube would have to wrap around from the bottom to the gpu so I made the ports top oriented to keep the run shorter.

How did you manage to bolt the 180 rad in?

I just had a quick look and my 180 case fan is riveted in. Did the magicool come with bolts?

I used some short screws I found in my box of screws, then used fan screws to attached the fan to the case. That's odd how your fan is riveted in, did you buy it from someone who modded it previously?

thanks for reply. it was the fitting i wasn't sure of :-0 I am only going to need the 180 Rad on my build. so (3) 90 and (2) 45

I am trying to make my case as silent as possible

so u took the front faceplate off to mount the 180 rad correct?

Yes, you would need to take the front panel off. It's as easy as 6 screws and it just pops off. What are you going to be cooling with just the front rad?

Are you planning to oc either of those? Imo, I wouldn't feel comfortable wc'ing those two with just a 180 rad. Well I suppose if you run both aat stock then it would be alright since they don't consume much until you start to oc them. You might also want to consider a D5 pump instead as those are a lot quieter. Even with both fans set to 40% on my FCT and the pump to 75%, can still hear the pump spinning.
