[Guild Wars 2] Question

Thread Starter
Hey I have a question about running the new and upcoming MMO Guild Wars 2. Yes I know the game is not out, and the beta was not optimized if any of you guys were playing.

But I am planning on upgrading my GPU / CPU to have a better performance in the game.

Currently I am using a GTX 260 and Intel Q9550,
If I were to upgrade to a GTX 560 Ti will by CPU bottle neck the GPU? I am trying to save as much money as possible, but if it isn't possible should I also upgrade my CPU to a Intel i5 2500k??

Oh and I am running 4GB of RAM, I dont think it would affect my gaming too much I think...

I don't think that CPU will bottleneck.
You could upgrade for the future but it's not mandatory to use the full potential of the GFX

if you know all the bold part, why do you insist to upgrade your hardware at this moment?

its kind of funny you mentioned you want to save as much money as possible and yet you decide to upgrade for the game that isn't even out

There isn't even an official release date yet, why the hurry? And then there's the possibility of having delays, etc

Wait a while. you might be able to save an extra hundred dollars CPU and GPU combined
