true benchmark wise a 570 isnt dated ,but date wise yes it is dated!so in the end both of you guys are right and both of you guys are wrong!

He meant outdated as in not good enough which is bloody wrong. 7660G is so far away from 570M in terms of performance too. If he meant date, it would be stupid because it doesn`t mean a thing. There are a lot of old GPUs that still is working like a charm today. smile.gif

I think most logical people here know that if you're going with a high-end discrete GPU, you should go with Intel. But for those looking for lower cost systems, AMD is the way to go.

Perhaps you are right. I haven`t checked price for the previous Llano against Sandy Bridge since money have never been an issue for me. I completely understand that people choose Trinity if its much cheaper than a Sandy/Ivy Bridge Quad and where money is a problem. No point arguing there thumb.gif

Do you really expect a sub $100 CPU to play Battlefield?

It is handling bf3 pretty ok here.
underestimating these chips much?

Dude even in that youtube video you can tell the game is crazy stuttering. Not a good example. If you wanted to prove you can play it fine but I don't consider that playable. 360 version runs better then that.

If you took your intel glasses off before watching you would see it.

This is less powerful than what is coming. Please keep that in mind.thumb.gif

While the framerates are a bit low that is still very impressive that even a A3850 can handle battlefield 3. I wonder how much better it would run with a 6670 in hybrid crossfire. That and considering that Trinity would be even better.

I looked around, this is the only video I could find with the setup you described.

isnt the whole point of trinity more or less bringing affordable laptops to the market that is well heeled in gpu? i can see who this would attract.

A £30 Celeron can run BF3 ok given the right GPU I don't see any reason those AMD A Series CPU's can't given the same GPU.
