Looks like the ASUS is close to being in stock at the bigger retailers.

lol, i just saw it right now...its hilarious

I wonder if we are actually close....or its just price gougers trying to get in on the action?

I want a DCU2...but at the same time, I'm kinda meh about it...I've read reviews saying the fan is silent...but it runs hotter than the gigabyte due to this....another member on here reported he just got his DCU2, and could not keep it below 70C (throttle limit) even with the fan at 100%. Makes me kinda think twice...

I just ordered an EVGA GTX 670 FTW model. I decided that an external exhaust model would be better in my case. When I found out they used a vapor chamber cooler on a GTX 680 PCB with the extra circuitry I was sold tongue.gif

Sorry, Asus. Your slowness in serving the US market lost you a sale.

I figure worst case scenario I'll invest in a twin turbo II or accelero hybrid down the line smile.gif I intend to at least replace the thermal paste, almost certainly.

Also, Free ShopRunner 2-day shipping FTW smile.gif

None of the 670 EVGA models have vapor cooling. http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1594926&mpage=1

Good choice...you can't go wrong with EVGA support as well

Also, from what I've read, the 670 FTW does not come with the vapor chamber....it's only available on the 680 Signature and up series frown.gif

Oh well, at least you get a high flow bracket stock...I heard that right there will help some

I would have waited. The Asus is the card to have

The ASUS has pretty high temps compared to the Windforce.

Also you guys need to stop posting! Its making me want to pull the trigger on a ref card too! I really need my machine up and running by at least the 29th so I can try out TERA online and play a bit so I can lock in a discount subscription rate if I enjoy it biggrin.gif .The seemingly overabundance of other options available and the increasing deadline I have is really getting to me.

According to EVGA Matt it does use vapor chamber cooling, unless he has led me astray. I'll find out when it gets here, I suppose. Also, I was tired of watching and waiting. I can get on with my life again wink.gif
