Having major issues with Z77 fatal1ty professional

Hangs on legacy USB devices, won't boot.

- Apple monitor usb hubs - freezes no boot
- Optimus Maximus keyboard freeze no boot
- Cowon music player - Freezes on os boot "xfast usb" app shows and system goes unresponsive

Onboard diagnostic readout - "Legacy usb" issue

Installing / configuring of teaming app for gigabit lan - Windows hard lock on boot when teaming app loads

So far no bios update available.

I'm going to test other usb devices but so far it won't boot with half the stuff I own
plugged in.

Even plugging in the usb hub built into the apple monitor creates a lock on boot.

I have no resolution for you, but I have experienced similar issues with my Asrock Z77 fatal1ty professional.
My system will boot, but it takes several ~3-5mins if I have older USB devices plugged in.
The problem took me awhile to diagnose, but this motherboard definitely has problems with some USB devices.

It's about to go back to the store at this rate.

The boot time is still 30+ seconds on SSD with that. I simply unplug my
keyboard now on boot.

I am sure the 2.0 bios is coming fast...

No such real issues for me.
I had one usb legacy device that was stalling it but the new bios fixed it.

Just wait for new BIOS, no point in returning a motherboard when it's still on it's RC BIOS.

That being said, I'm at 4.8 GHZ on my i7 3770K @ 85 degrees on water, so I'm happy.

Also do you know what Teaming does? Do you even have a router/switch that supports LAG (Link Aggregation), because your wasting your time otherwise, and not even the highest end mainstream router (WNDR4500 or E4200v2) even have this capability.

Yes. I'm running fiber optic and I use a commercial router that supports teaming.
