Other than the power consumption advantage a GTX 670 does not have any other. acoustics and temps are good on the custom coolers even when HD 7950 is overclocked. in favour of HD 7950 is compute perf, bandwidth and VRAM advantages.

And i don't really care about power consumption anyway. It's already extremely low with this gen cards compared to older gens. That, and daddy pays bills
I care more about heat/noise than i do about power use. I admit, there is a link between power use and heat, but with custom cooled 7950's there isn't much of a problem with heat/noise. And i will still be comfortable running my 7950 at 80C if neccecary, if oc is high enough and noise low enough

But both are great cards.
