[Gamespot]Diablo III Amazon's most preordered PC game ever - Page 6

I have a question. I'm planning on pre-ordering the digital version. I will install it on my PC. I will be going to Europe in 2 weeks for a few weeks, will I still be able to play from Europe on the American servers??

I mean an anomaly in pc gaming, not an anomaly for blizzard. In fact your statement just proved my point "could ever hope for or want."

Yes you can. There is an option within the menus to change which region you are playing on.

Valve doesn't release digital sales figures. Keep that in mind. Who knows why they don't, we all know they must be massive. Developers whom sell their games on Steam do and it's usually 4 to 1. 4x as many copies sold Digitally.

Valve never releases theirs, but you know, the oh, hundreds of thousands playing at any given time kind of tell you the story.

They have the most played FPS in all of history still going for them as well. More than CoD, Halo, ect.

Ditto! It's all about brand recognition. Diablo 3 will be a successful because there a lot of anticipation. It's been a long time since it's predecessor and fans have been dying for the 3rd instalment...

I dont see the point of preordering pc games these days. The last time a big pc game was released such as starcraft 2, i drove over to my local best buy the day of and they had 50 copies in store...no store will be sold out of diablo 3 regardless of how good of game it is.

The CE has been out of stock for a while now.

It was actually just up on Amazon, some cancelled orders perhaps.

If you refreshed the page, they disappeared.

That happened on walmart.com yesterday too. I got 2 CE orders out, due to all of the CE cancellations, better safe than sorry.
