My comment - I realize it is not to DIVE directly but I hope someone from DICE reads it:

So DICE, why make a game that is supposed to be tactically team oriented and then completely take that ability away from the players by not having VOIP in it? We have Call of Duty for a total twitch, run around and generally ignore everyone around you while spraying bullets completely uncoordinated with others - we don't want BF for that and that is what you have given us.

I am a long time BF fan - from the very beginning of the series and have owned and played every game. I have stopped playing BF3 about 30 hours in because I cannot just join a server and work with my team. I HAVE to make sure I have enough people I know to get a squad or two going so we can actually play the game using teamwork.

DICE you have completely ruined the BF series for me with this decision. I was upset with BFBC2 as I wanted BF3, but I still have over 100 hours in it because I could just jump in and COMMUNICATE with everyone around me.

And......this + 100 other reasons why I uninstalled bf3 a few days ago....thumb.gif Don't feel bad. Nothing mentioned about bullet speed....odd, oh well. The game was good when it first came out. Latest patch absolutely ruined it.

Ruined in your opinion. I'm still having fun just like I always did.

The only weapon a foregrip truly controls recoil on would be fully auto machine guns I believe. When you are firing using a foregrip, you really cant judge how much downward pressure to exert until 8 or 10 shots into an automatic burst. Anything before that, a foregrip is just another place to put your hand.

Ya but, it's a game.

You dont get ammo magically transported into your magazines if you stand close enough to a box full of bullets.

Shock paddles don't fix .50cal sized holes in your head, nor does waving a blow torch at a helicopter put out engine fires, but they work the way they do for gameplay reasons.

The man is explaining the reasons things work the way they do in terms of balance, not real life. Good lord.

I agree with you that a foregrip shouldn't decrease accuracy or increase recoil, however Grizzle Boy is right.

Game guns =/= Real guns

Get over it.

And they couldve easily made you have to interact with an ammo box to get bullets, or patch someone up depending on the hit zone, etc...And they couldve easily given vehicles mobility kills/catastrophic kills, etc...none of which they did. All pretty minute fixes. But yes, its just a game. Cant expect too much out of the call of duty generation these days. Cant wait for ARMA 3

Granted, bf3 is the best game to come out in years

The people who want a simulation are joining the military or playing the OF or ARMA games.

The rest of us (the majority) want a balanced game.

If I wanted an even better simulation than gaming but didn't want to join the military, I'd go paint-balling. It's like a game except you still don't die. Less of course you're playing near a cliff and fall off. Or get eaten by a bear or something. Or trip, fall into a small stream and hit your head and drown.... but yeah. You get my point.
