Thread Starter
How well does this thing overclock, I bought it to tide me over till Direct x10 but I'd like to squeeze some juice out of this. If anyone could give me any explanations about how to overclock it etc I would appreciate the help I'm kind of a n00b to overclocking.

Download Rivatuner or Coolbits and use the utility in there. It's self explanatory; go to the OCing options and choose the speed you want.

Coolbits is easier to use. But don't OC the card tooooo much. Go about 5MHz, and up it up a bit. Then test for artifacts, ATi Tool. Try the Stress test in CS:S if you have it aswell.

I used coolbits and mine runs around 625/820 with no voltage increase. I am not too sure how good this is though. (using BFG 7600 gt)

Rivatuner didn't work for my 7600GT it didn't have the option availible. I used coolbits at first but then decided on flashing the bios and OC and increase volts that way.

When I used the 83.91 drivers it wouldn't let me OC any more past 639/819. I download the XTreme G tweaked 91.47's and sitting here at 650/820. I haven't tried to OC any further, but I'm sure I could do way more. BTW, this is a on a 7900GT. But if you have some driver problems you should try the above drivers.

Try using ATiTool to OC as well. This card will OC like a FIEND. You can also do a pencil v-mod to get the clocks even higher. Check out my screenie.
