Need some new fans

Thread Starter
I want to change the fans in my rig because they are kinder loud and I want some fans that are quieter and more efficient and won't break the bank. I need the following fans as follows:

1 x 92mm for my CPU
3 x 120mm for my case

Suggestions thanks.

Note: I will be purchasing from MSY

Get a bigger case so it will fit a full sized heatsink. 80mm fans are too noisy and push little air.

I'm using a Hyper TX3 cooler. I don't overclock my cpu only my gpu and that has adequate cooling.

How much airflow you thinking? The Noctua NF-B9 is one of the quietest 92mm fans for the airflow (~ 30CFM).

This Gelid might be better for your situation, moves a bit more air at top speed, but I don't think it'd be as quiet. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835426005

Also, if you haven't yet, you should undervolt the CPU a little. I have my Phenom II 955 undervolted to 1.20V, from stock of something around 1.3V (maybe a bit higher, I forget). Dropped the load temps a little, I forget exactly how much but at least a few degrees C.

Yeah enough airflow that my CPU won't blow haha! As for undervolting I would but I can't with my POS board because it doesn't support voltage settings :/

I'll look into those fans you recommended!
