Voice Biometrics HELP!

Thread Starter
Ok so, I originally went for a job that was supposed to be networking and sys admin stuff, and now im in a programming position and have no idea on this stuff. I have been asked to give a presentation on voice biometric system to authenticate customers on a phone banking service...

I was given a blasting from a general manager on version 1 of the damn presentation because their request was vague, so they got a vague presentation.

I was given this template to use to contact voice vendors but i'm still confused on the topic... mostly with

- Product focus / target market
- Supported capabilities
- Online enrollment support and enrolment time
- Indicative EER
- API used
- Supported languages
- Notable Clients using the technology.

If anyone has any idea or help on the issue please help!! :S

I'm not a programmer, and all the questions ive been told to ask i have no idea what they mean and the questions im going to be asked i wont be able to answer....

Presentation due may 16th 11am

I'm currently being transferred to a sys admin job now - yaaay!

There is a Biometrics conference coming up in Sydney (May 24th and 25th), where Austar will be delivering a presentation on their voice biometric deployment, using Nuance's Voice Biometric solution. This is an opportunity to meet with Jeff Rouse, Information Systems Development Manager at Austar, and learn directly from him the key lessons of a voice biometric implementation, from an IT managers point of view:

A lot of banks have already deployed voice biometrics for authentication into their IVR, so you may want to connect with one of those organizations to learn from their expereinces. In Australia, NAB is one example of a financial insitution having deployed voice biometrics for a number of years now:

Voice Biometrics is a relatively straight-forward technology. You can check out Opus' website on voice biometric to get educated on the key players, their product offerings, and the trends in the market. The link below points to the 2011 report on the market, which although a bit dated now, still provides a good overview:
