Digi+ vrm setting

hello,
i have just been playing with the digi+ vrm setting under load,,but while under load if you set the cpu load line capacity you get different voltages like so.....

regular is 1.26 volts
medium is 1.30 volts
high is 1.32 volts
very high is 1.36 volts
extreme is 1.4 volts

seems max voltage under load is 1.4volts

i changed my multiplier down as i was over heating,my idle voltage went from 1.36 to 1.34 but the full load voltage's remained the same as the cpu load line setting.
key bit,if its prime stable with the load line setting say on meduim,you should be able to use the 1.3v as your normal voltage.

would also explain the 4.4-4.6 limit that we seem to all reach.

iam just trying to work out how the cpu current capibilty works please?

What is your cpu's stock vcore if you turn off CnQ and dont overclock it..... What does the cpu set the vcore at?

i have mine set to 3.4ghz and have 1.33-1.34 volts,i should be able to run cpu load line at high.

but there must ba a way to add more volts during full load,i just cant work it out,yet.

i still dont know what the cpu current capibility dose yet,any one able to explain please?

its also showing odd results,i had had it volted manual in the first place ,but now iam off set my voltage is, well,off set.

If you set everything to auto and leave your CnQ and turbo core disabled what does the motherboard set your vcore at?

Also its the motherboards quality that allows it to hold a steady voltage under load.
My CHIV formula can hold 1.44v steady at idle and load, it never fluctuates. I also spent the extra money on my board.

hello,
iam getting 1.28-1.29 with my cpu at 3100,but your right the load line voltages have changed with my cpu voltage.
even though i was running 1.36 and with high load line it down set to 1.32.

i am finding that you need to have ultra high or extreme to get the load line to even or greater than cpu voltage,might be cpu related though,a fx 4100 might not have to load line that high.

i still cant work out the cpu current capability,move it where you want ,i could find no change in voltages,so what is it for?

You really don't need to mess with the Digi VRM settings, nor should you if you don't know what they're for.

You will be able to overclock just fine on that mobo while leaving all of the digi VRM settings at auto in the BIOS and upping the voltage manually.

your messing with LLC (load Line Calibration) it adjusts or reduces the amount V-Droop on load.

If you want to increase voltage adjust Vcore manually or use a + offset mode.

hello,
i found that load line calibration would lock to regular under auto,so you end up with 1.26 volts under load.so i was having a fiddle to find equals too or greater than load line setting.

i think i have figured it out,the load line setting are for different cpu's,
eg is that you get 1.31v under full load for the fx 8120 3.1 ghz,
then you get the 1.325v for the fx 6100 3.3 ghz ,
the 1.368v for the 8150 3.6ghz. ,
and the 1.41 for the turbo core voltage.
only thing is they dont have a 2.6ghz cpu or do they?

oh,and can someone with an fx chipset, please tell me if they have more stages of load lines on there board please?
