I love the term "splitting up the community" it was never one big group to begin with.

This makes me sad. They really call of doodoo'd the BF series. Ive been playing since the OG 1942... and I can honestly say I wont buy any expansion packs. **** THAT!

I'm disappointed in the premium service =/ I've been optimistic about BF3, seeing it for what is good about it and not looking down in its minor cosmetic and mechanical issues.

While this still isn't official (this is just coming from a "reliable source") it goes to show that B3 really is leaning towards what everyone has been complaining about; it being a money-milking title like COD where they're just slowly releasing small bits of content to keep charging $15 here and there for new maps/weapons/skins. So unfortunate to see a great series break into a downwards spiral just like the COD franchise has. DICE promised BF3 wouldn't be just like BF2 nor just like BC2. It sure isn't, and in a bad way if this premium service rumor holds true. Way to lose your fanbase, EA. GLHF with BC3/BF4, I likely won't buy them, though I'm sure that won't mean horse dung to them with how much they're going to milk BF3.

I AM happy for double XP weekend. I'll still be playing.

Then what are you talking about? Does it require that much effort to defend your position?

TY for articulating my thoughts, my good sir.

I've also been an avid BF fan since 1942... and Oddly enough I found BC2 much more enjoyable than BF3. Im thinking I may go back to playing CS when GO is out for my FPS fix.
