This is going to be awesome... the Maps app on iOS is in much need of an update.

Apple's acquired three or more companies which specialize in mapping and such, so I'm sure they'll be able to pull it off.

I personally find that while Google Maps Street view is unbeatable, Bing Maps are more accurate (at least for locations that I consulted throughout North America), and Bing's bird's eye is much more useful than Google's satellite.
So it's not nearly as impossible as some of you guys make it seem to make a proper alternative to Google Maps.
