that sucks, took me 3 tries with my MSI gtx 570 before i got a working one, in the end they gave me a tf3 version wink.gif Still took about 4months to get a working one.

Yeah, your bound to get one eventually. Hopefully yours will turn out better!

And yeah, the guy never called me back. Didn't think he would. Guess I'll call on either Monday or Tuesday and see what is up with the card.

Took me about one month to RMA my old Asus motherboard. At first, they sent me the same one back and sneakily placed a different serial number on it. I only found out because I left a marker mark on the board and took pictures before hand. What they sent back didn't work after some testing.
The one good thing was that they offered to pay for shipping when I had to ship it back for the second time. They finally sent me a working board afterward.

The wait time for email and shipping was just too drawn out. I would still buy Asus however.

Wow, after reading this thread, words just can't describe my disgust. This is ridiculous, how hard is it, really to just take the broken card fix it, or send you a new or refurbished (working hopefully lol) replacement. If i were in a position of power in Asus and got wind of this, i would have their heads, as well as make sure it got sorted out.

After the Phoebus sound card fiasco, I'll never buy Asus anything again and i build a top of the line rig ever year for fun. I've has so so luck with Asus's RMA, it was a complete disaster sending back my transformer, I've has 2 RIVE boards go memory wonky. I'll stick to EVGA from now one. They have excellent customer service. I sent them in a x58 sli board because of a burnt resistor, they send me back a classy x58! I was like thumb.gif
