So its only problem when you instal or remove power connectors. Returning this wont help anything as replacement would have same issue, i know its ridicilous but its just flaw in this cards desing. I think ill just to buy some 6 pin extension cables with slimmer pci-e connector clips/claw and then it will be fine.

I was implying to get a different card when I said to return it. biggrin.gif

And I still wouldn't want my power cables contacting the heat sink. I'm too cautious but to each his own.

Well ideally thats what i would probably do, but problem is that they dont have single another manufacturer 670:s at stock anymore and arent getting new bacthes till late next week, waiting week completely without pc is not really option for me as i need it daily.

SO guys I am thinking of purchasing 2 670s instead of 2 680s

what would you say?

I only game in 1080p and I game in 3d some of the time.

Also where can i purchase a Asus 670 OC edition?

Thank you.

if you check benches comparing a 670 to a 680, the difference is VERY minimal, maybe a loss of 5FPS average, up to maybe 10 or 15. That's not in SLI though. So at $400 for a 670 and $500 for a 680, you get 95% the power for 80% the cost.

If you get the Gigabyte 670, it comes factory OCed with a base clock at the reference stock clocks boost. And it's still a $400 card and has the custom Windforce cooling system which keeps the card nicely cool and barely audible.

Two Gigabyte 670s will get you immense performance when I would more than bet you'll never dip under 40/50FPS and probably no less than 30-35 while in 3D.

I recommend the Gigabyte 670s in SLI over any 680 combination. Save $200 and buy another HDD or more memory maybe?

Has anyone noticed the Galaxy GTX 670 GC Overclocekd edition when installed on the motherboard, the logo is upside down. Also there is a LED lights on the Nvidia logo by the fans which nobody can see since its facing down. Its seems like a design flaw. Very annoying.
