I may just keep them installed as I'm buying a new hard drive and plan on re-installing Windows. I have yet to sleep... I'm to excited.

Wrong. My case fans have ALWAYS been on high. I had them on high when I had my pathetic 450 in there, with the i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHZ, max temps @ 65 for CPU, not sure about GPU ( That is, if it was even being used, which I dont think it was). Now with my i5 2500k @ 4.5GHz and my 670 @ stock, 1163MHz max, im still getting 65C max CPU temp.
This all tested by Folding for a bit.

Okay, I've ran a clean install of the drivers, I don't have any monitoring/OCing software installed, and last night I got the black screen of death...is it time to RMA my card?

Just got my card installed. I think it was opened. Maybe for testing, everything works and I'm getting great FPS. I have no clue how to bench or anything but I'll have a pic up later.

Forgot to mention I only use a 1280x1024 monitor. I need to upgrade

So I got my second Gigabyte GTX670OC. It was a bit of an impulse buy to be honest. $400 flat taxes in. My first one cost me $380 flat.

Anyway pardon the horrid quality on the pics, I had to sell my camera ... take out a mortgage... and make a deal with the devil... to get this card:P whistle.gif  JK.

Now all I need are some unreal custom backplates that I'm currently working on.

Yea, it makes no differences which bracket you use. I don't like the flimsy band type 2-way that came with p9x79. The rigidity of the 3 way is much better;) But maybe its just a teaser for what else is to come haha
