Finally can put my Gen3 board to use.

Did you get an IB cpu? No pci-e3 with a sandy bridge in a gen3 mobo... Won't make much difference either way, but wouldn't really be putting the gen3 mobo to use.

Here's a review of both single and SLI comparisons between 660Ti and 670. As always, remember that Kepler is ALWAYS a lottery. IOW, you could get a poor 670 clocker or a beastly 660Ti. Conversely, the 660Ti could be crap or you could end up with a golden 670. If you are planning on SLIing in the future, do take note of the article. GL.

Also, the higher the resolution, the greater the gap between the 660Ti and 670

Ok this might be slightly off topic but does anyone know why for example people with same hardware (same cpu and gpu) same fps just different mobo get sluggish or perfectly fast gameplay.

Compare these two vids http://www.youtubedoubler.com/?video1=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DmuE0w_Qws80&start1=&video2=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DYmDgFPI-Uzo&start2=&authorName=

Or check this one out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRitvXA8a0k

And compare them.

So why does someones gameplay feel fast and snappy while other sluggish and slow mo?

Is it because of their encoding style and settings?

Thanks!!!

So, I thought I'd try folding with the 670. It really slowed my system down. Saw something about throttling at 70C so I checked the fan speed. Using EVGA Precision I put in a custom fan curve and discovered something... that fan is LOUD! I was thinking how nice and quiet my system was, but apparently I haven't loaded the GPU much until now. I have an XSPC Raystorm kit installed, so no problem adding the GPU to the loop, but... is there a decent 670 compatible GPU block that is well under $100? I did a quick search and they all appear to be $100 or more and that's out of my budget for now.
