power target is too low on reference 670s IMO, so the FTW (I think) is better just from that point of view. Other than that it's 680 PCB I think doesn't matter in the bigger picture, you can get blocks to reference cards easily (I've put the EK blocks and backplates on mine) and damn they look small after having 2 580s in there before!

Hi all! Here's a shot of my two ASUS 670 DC2s in SLI. I completed the form. Thanks for the club!

If you're going for a 670, and one on a 680 PCB, definitely choose the FTW. FTW seems to be better binned, and from what I have seen, majority of them can get close to or are running 1300MHz stable. I have one myself, one out of two I bought for the first time ever.

It doesn't have to be one with a 680 pcb however I am open to suggestions. Is there any advantage to the 680 pcb ones other than backplate and waterblock fitment? Also if I am going to be playing on single monitor 1080p then the 2gb version will be more than enough right?
yah, 2gb is plenty for a single 1080p display.

Does anyone know if EVGA backplate goes with Gigabyte GTX 670?

Finally got mine a few days ago. I took advantage of Newegg running 10% off, free shipping and of course borderlands 2 with it.

With my old 560ti...

Looking good! Let us know how that thing overclocks.

The advantage of the 680 PCB is one extra phase over the 670 PCB. This doesn't mean much if the card isn't binned to begin with. But in the case with eVGA, they are binned higher so an extra phase just means higher stable overclocks. I've seen very few GB doing 1300, but many FTW doing 1300 stable.

I run it at 1264mhz core and 3604 on memory. The memory I maxed out at 3700, but the core clock only goes up to 1274 before going crazy. I was hoping to get it up to 1300 but no biggie, it runs great and incredibly cool and quiet. Also it is quite the upgrade over my 560ti, in fact it is slightly faster than when I had two 560ti's. I'm just really hoping that I will still be able to get one next April to run them in SLI. Yes unfortunately I have to wait that long, as my wife is starting to get annoyed with the computer parts purchases recently lol.
