Though, I really should dip into the BIOS and give her a proper overclock and not rely an Asus' Auto-Tune.
Those pre-set/auto OC options are usually rather horrid. Use the guide in my sig, I used it and it really set me up quickly and was easy to follow! smile.gif

Odd question hoping for clarity.

One of my 670 is a POS but that's another story. This POS card has a very poor keppler boost but what makes it weird is that it increases by 13Mhz when the temps go to 61 degrees or higher. Because the cards are under water now, the temps are obviously very low and I never get this extra 13Mhz.

Has anyone else seen anything like this? I know I can just OC but that's not what I mean.. why does a card behave this way and I'm curious if anyone else has seen this?

Not sure on what oc to go for...ram wise :/
I got to 90+ on the core so far and 90+ ram, had no clue what to do with it xD
145% power target voltage maxed out at 1.175v in Precision X.

Better to give the actual boost clocks rather than the +numbers
post #1685 of 3566
Actual boost is 1253mhz for the corewith +90 offset so far, and 3703mhz for memory with +600 offset. I had no idea I could push the ram so far lol
Gonna try higher now!

Validation: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/n4gd9/
3dm11 run: 10389 marks

Does anyone know why GPU-z and EVGA Precision-X show 2 different readings for my core clocks?

Edit: I'm not sure how to make a spoiler or blow the picture up.

EVGA Precision-X reports 1254MHz on the core while GPUz only reports 1125.

Check the gpu-z log file...I'd trust Precision X though.

Got to +790 mem and +92 core so far.
Stock 'kepler' volts lol

EVGA Precision-X reports 1254MHz on the core while GPUz only reports 1125.
1254 is your max boost (boost clock+kepler boost).
gpuz is only showing your boost clock (base boost + offset).
Looks like your kepler boost is 129 (or 130 to be accurate for it to be multiple of 13)

I have just put my new Msi gtx 670 power edition oc and unfortunately
msi afterburner and gpuz shows only 705mhz on the core. Also the core voltage on the msi afterburner is locked.
Any idea what is going on?
Guys is 1293mhz good for the core? That's my max stable 3dm11 oc...And 7800mhz vram. (1.213v for the core and liquid metal paste for the die)
I'm getting max temps of 45c with 70% max fan speed, at 21c ambient. (I use a custom fan curve with my FTW stock cooler)

Thanks!
