Woah that thing is beffy looking.
It may get lower temps, but other things to take into consideration:
  • RMA/Customer service of EVGA.
  • The higher out of the box clocks(on both memory and core) matching/beating stock 680's in performance
  • 670 on a 680 pcb and cooler, so it obviously is going to be quieter then a 670 reg and a 680 reg and cooler then both as well. The cooler is by no means bad, people seem to forget the cooler is made for a bigger, faster card.

The gigabyte gtx 670 also uses a 680 reference pcb.

id agree with this. i love my FTW card so far. very little noise compared to the 570s i used to have and its boosting it self to almost 1200 MHz right out of the box

Don't know why people don't mention the Asus 670 often - it is easily one of, if not, coolest/quietest 670's on the market, and to top it off it looks absolutely badass, is totally solid built and comes with a backplate...

Availability & price seem to be the killers for it. i really wanted it but couldn't justify the $50+ over the Gigaybyte 670 WF3 OC, the Asus is the Quitest but not the coolest on stock fan curves.

ASUS Product It's overpriced, IMO, (at least on my country).
