Did you notice some sort of coil whine when reaching a specific load? When I hit something above 70% load, it kinda sounds like this

Yikes! That would drive me nuts. It actually sounds a lot like my Corsair H100 pump which is getting RMA'd lol.

For what it's worth, the fans on the Gigabyte non-reference card are virtually silent, and while on auto, peak out at about 50% while playing BF3 on ultra at 2560x1440. My temps peak in the low 60s too. Pretty awesome cooling from my experience so far.
