Try turnibg off vsync in game, go to Nvidia control panel and force vsync on globally for all games or for the specific game. Turning ON triple buffering might help.

I'm new to the club with my Asus GTX 670 DCII TOP. I have an interesting Heaven benchmark result.
perfomrance is great compared to others it seems but it says GTX 470 lol. I have that running the second monitor.
Also Virtu MVP is running. Thoughts?

You need to crank the settings up. Max everything. And any reason to have a 470 running a second monitor? Sounds like a big waste of power to me your main card should handle it fine.

hey guys

How do i go about testing the asus gtx 670 top , considering that its already factory overclocked? I just want to ensure that my card is stable at those settings.

Run some maxed out runs of heaven. But your best bet is bf3 for a couple hours. Heaven is a pretty good indicator with these cards though.

Well I've noticed something interesting. It's just a plain vanilla 670.

The sticker on the PCB matches the sticker on the outside of the box, and identified the card as just a regular 670 when I registered it with EVGA.

But then I see this sticker on the back of the card as well, but on the cooler right off the PCB.

GeForce GTX670 SC 2G.....SC = SuperClock right? What's up with this?? thinking.gif

I just looked at mine and it too has the SC on it. I wonder if this could have any correlation to the crashes I have been experiencing. I red screen in BF3, Crysis 2, and GTA IV. I think it might be due to those games using a lot of card memory because games like Diablo III and SC2 have no problems at all.

I also got the stock EVGA GTX 670 with the SC label on the card, I would like to know why these are floating around :/

What is kinda funny is that stock boost should be at 980MHz where my card has done 1137 MHz and i done nothing at all thats higher than the FTW's boost O.o

Could just be GPU-Z playing with me though :/

I was reading someone said it won't fit because the VRM's are so close. Not sure if its true you may want to look into it.
