My WEI only went from 8.1 to 8.2 (don't think that's an issue) but every other benchmark flew up and over my previous GTX 780 - absolutely flying now. I'll upload pics of my system and screenshots of the benchmarks later today hopefully!

Thought 7.9 was max?

8.# Win8 only?

Max in Windows 7 is 7.9 whereas Windows 8 goes up to 9.9 as far as I know, or it could be 8.9? Anyone?

What do you need for 9.9 then? Quad SLI Titans?

Yeah no doubt something stupid.... I do think they are just trying to "future proof" this scoring a bit though... cpus gpus etc will keep improving

WEI is such a touchy subject, everyone says it means nothing but it certainly bugs me when I have a low score on a component! thinking.gif

I always feel like it pulls a dick move by rating you at your lowest component.

Personally I'd much rather set them myself, I found that because my CPU was overclocked I could run games like Arkham city with PhysX on High on a single 560TI, the geforce experience disabled this for me as it was aimed at stock frequencies.

^ This ^

I used it for a while for fun and it seems the difference in recommended settings is not real apparent from system to system, especially in 1920 x 1080. I'm going to uninstall it on the gaming rig because it doesn't recommend settings based on native / current / chosen resolution, such as when surround gaming in 5760 1080, which is how I play all of the games I like that support surround.

The concept is cool, but it's really for those that aren't real cozy or a too lazy to deal with finding the optimal settings themselves, and have a single monitor. Also, for games that you play most often, like ranked multiplayer games (war, mmo, etc.), some of us need that K/D ratio over eye candy for example. That requires your manual input.

I need both but will suffer a minuscule amount of kills for some extra graphics features turned on... 2cents.gif

Seems about right. I increased my memory clock to +255 and core clock to +50 through msi Afterburner. Though the average fps doesn't improve much, my minimum fps went to 28 in unigine heaven 4.0. By the way, where are your HDD/SSD? On the top? I try to avoid relying external drives (for alternative storage) as much as possible since there's a higher chance of the drive becoming damaged from freak accidents or getting lost/stolen. Just saying, most moderate-heavy pc users will need more than 2TB in 3 years... and if you're one of them, you might need to put your racks back in.
