First world problems:

Should I order an Asus 670 DCUII TOP, or an EVGA 670 FTW ... maybe want to build up a WC, so I'd say EVGA ... but they are both the same price.

Somehow I've got the feeling, that I'm better off with the Asus

Any suggestions?^^

I remember with my GTX480 there was an issue where if you connected two displays, it locked the card into 3D clocks, thus making it idle at absurd temps- is this the case with the GTX670 as well?

Nope. It downclocks to its proper 324Mhz core, 162Mhz memory frequencies smile.gif My GTX 560 Ti did as well. They may have resolved the GTX 480 frequency issue via drivers by now.

It does indeed suck when they refuse to downclock while using multiple monitors... The additional power consumption at idle adds up quickly, and the heat output is no good tongue.gif

Hey guys anyone here play BF3 with a 2560 x 1440 monitor and one 670? I'm considering a korean monitor and wondering how the performance will be.

I'm sure others will answer before I test myself but I got my FTW 2gb model coming in tomorrow and I play on my 2560x1440 apple cinema display so I'll post in here tomorrow regardless

I have a Catleap Q270SE (60hz version) and have run BF3 at 2560x1440 on a single Gigabyte 670 at 1,250MHz max boost and found it to be excellent. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so my expectations may be lower than those that are, but I know what looks and performs good and what doesn't, and I found BF3 to look and run great at that resolution on a single card.
