Hum I'm gonna try with my card too. What do you do with load power settings?

Probably a driver/game issue.

Can you use an EVGA brand backplate with the FTW670 at the same time you use.... a Koolance/HeatKiller/EK water block? Just curious, I think that would look sick... hope to be up and folding soon with mines thumb.gif

Wait I didnt get the last part about a 670 backplate, i didnt know evga made one for the 670 FTW version since its not on their page, people are getting the 680 one since thats the only one that fits, the 670 one isnt the same at the FTW.

Not sure but I know EK makes one for their block, I hope the evga backplate works though since I think it looks better.

The EVGA 670 FTW uses the 680 PCB design, and not the smaller reference 670 design. The EVGA Store is selling a reference 670 backplate that will not fit a 670 FTW. The 680 backplate will fit. They are not currently selling a backplate designed for the 670 FTW specifically.

Got my 670 FTW the other day and I'm very satisfied. Its a big upgrade over my old GTX 460 SLI setup. Running BF3 and Crysis2 maxed out and its beautiful.

At stock my card would 1202 max boost. The highest stable OC that could pass Unigine Heaven is a 1268 max boost. Pretty average I guess. The memory is a different story. It seems stable at +700 so far. At +750 I started noticing flickering textures and artifacts in BF3 so I turned it back down.

My only gripe with this card is the fact that it throttles down at 70 degrees. When gaming at load or benchmarking I hover around 65-70 max with my fan at 85%. I wish there was a way to turn that off or at least adjust it to 80 degrees.
