Good man.

My GTX670 FTW OC's to 1282mhz core, faster than a slightly OC'ed 680 !

For only 420$ ~

It's still overpriced, this card should be $350-370.  I <3 mine though.  It's been folding stable at 1280mhz, while @ 62-64C with 1:1 fan speed / temp fan profile.

I tried going AMD after my 470, but I forgot why I switched from my 5870 originally. AMD really needs to get their stuff together when it comes to drivers. I couldn't even play Crysis 2 without it crashing during the intro, stock or overclocked, different sets of drivers.

I went from 7850's to a GTX670 and tbh the 7850's gave me better performance with less bugs even though they where in CF.

AMD having crap drivers and Nvidia having soooo much better drivers is a myth.

Also i think with the new series of graphic cards AMD build quality is ALOT better.
The reference GTX670 cooler is the most horrible one in the history of stock coolers.
Also, overclocking an AMD card is more fun then a new Nvidia card.

Luckely i can now fold proper, an area where AMD does indeed lack.

Have you tried the 304.48 beta drivers?  I'm getting around 600 more PPD on same clocks with my GTX670.

Nvidia definitely has less problems with their drivers in my experience. Throughout my short high-end video card ownership lifetime (7900GS, 8800 GTX, 4870, 5870, GTX 470, HD 7950, (soon to be GTX 670)) I've had significantly fewer bugs with my Nvidia cards. I don't run multi-monitor or crossfire/SLI so I can rule out those as being one of the issues. Nvidia has constantly been stable for me. I'm also getting a 670 with the 680 PCB.

Hey does anyone know if the GTX 670 FTW still comes in that clam shell plastic packaging, or have the fixed that?

I'm pretty sure all the newer ones will have the clam shell.

Wow that's really lame. If I'm paying $420 for a graphics card it should at least have decent packaging.

On a side note 750w will be enough to SLI a pair of those right?

It's actually not an issue, but OK.  The clam shell works fine.  Yes, 750w is more than sufficient for two in SLI.  biggrin.gif
