lightsout plays on 1440p with a single 670 and bf3. I forgot what settings it was though, a modded ultra profile with AA turned down I think. At that resolution AA isnt as important from what i read too and it makes sense.

Any 670 result will answer your question, just need to see what your max oc is and compare with others. But my FTW does 1235mhz max stable and so far confirmed up to 3600mhz memory max (3900mhz benching but working up there slowly gaming to check stability as I go).

At those settings my averages are pretty nice in bf3, with 1080p ultra in 64player matches I get about 78-84fps average with fraps recording (data not video) the whole thing. With ultra msaa off average is 90-100fps depending on map.

In BF3 I use SSAO and MSAA is off. I have been using Adaptive Vsync and its nice and smooth at 60fps.

Looks beautiful in 1440p. My favorite map is the scrap yard or whatever its called. All the lighting looks sick.

So you have basically everything besides MSAA maxed?

Hopefully I find a catleap today while I'm in Seoul. Asking price locally is just under 250$.

Yes I use SSAO instead of HBAO which is less demanding. And MSAA is off. Everything else is on ultra. Don't forget about the Shimian monitor as well. Thats what I got and its awesome!!

Just a note for all ASUS Dcuii TOP users, the GPU Tweak from asus causes massive red screen of death on some cards out there, im one of em. i thought my card was faulty, and i also thought the 301.42 driver was flawed...but then when i uninstall the GPU Tweak from Asus, no more crashes and no more RSOD..

just my 2 cents..
Yah it seems gpu tweak is more trouble than its worth. There's better software out there anyways.

Yah I haven't came back for performance on my side playing on my apple 1440p monitor but I play BF3 at the same settings as Lightsout, smooth gameplay, 60fps, the secret world is the only game that's making her huff and puff a little even without AA. Aside from that its a nice performer for the resolution

Mine got those fingerprints too. have you tried isopropyl alcohol?
I water cooled mine, so I solved the problem in a different way.

Hello guys,
I got my new EVGA GTX 670 FTW yesterday

Played many rounds of BF3 and everything went well

Today I launched my PC and when using it my screen sometimes have random colors and patches
Sometimes freezes, goes blank and returns with driver crash balloon, something like this
145

Used both 301.42 WHQL and 304.48 BETA with the same problem

Is this a hardware malfunction or a software problem?

Need your immediate advice

Thanks
