you don't want to crash in a middle of an BF3 MP match now do you? I have and it's sucks.
I had mine running the heaven bench on looping mode for 8 hours straight before i called it stable. while that's rigorous i think at least a 2-6 hour test should be enough.

Thanks, I'll try.

I still think that mine isn't very high, but if I try just changing the offset +5 more I crash in about 5 minutes.
Also my memory offset is at +280, crashes if I go to +290.

Is there anything else I can do to attempt higher OCs, I have the voltage maxed btw.
I have the MSI PE which is supposed to have unlocked voltage soon if I'm not mistaken.

i increased the voltage and power target just in case though i can only pull off a clock of 1215MHz max frown.gif but it's over 1.2GHz so i am not complaining since it's higher than the factory OC base clock of 980MHz smile.gif

How do you think this 3Dmark11 score is?

I would overclock my 670 but for whatever reason, either Precision or the monitoring software is giving me the red screen...closing both avoids that particular issue

Sign me up fellas! I have the stock Asus 670...Not doing anything crazy with it yet since I have NO idea what I'm doing. But that's why I'm here, to learn right? Anyway, have it tweaked up just a tad, and not pushing temps over 45C at the moment. Very happy with the noise/cooling on this board. And it looks so sexy....

That seems to be a good score, but I had a look at the physic score and thought that may be a little low for what you are running. I have the same CPU clocked @ 4.4Ghz and it gives me over 8500. I wonder if that is just the extra 200Mhz giving me that score or if there is something else that you can tweak. Still a good score though. The 670 is performing fine also. Out of the box mine gets around 9600 graphics score. When I OC it to a max clock of 1215Mhz, I get past 10,450 graphics score which is sweet as.

Thank you for the response. My 3570k is OCed to 4.2. I wonder what I should be doing to get higher results but to be honest I am thinking of downclocink to stock levels for heat purposes. Yesterday I did several hours of gaming and the CPU hit 77 degrees max. It is perfectly ok but since my room is way too hot and humid because of the weather, maybe i should just go back to 3.8.

670 Gigabyte is great and honestly I am thinking of running it at stock levels as i believe the difference is maybe 5% not worth the extra heat and power consumption. I cant wait to get a 2nd GPU.

Mmmm..my 3dmark11 seems quite low compared...thinking something's amiss? All at stock at the moment.

What do you reckon?
