http://www.overclock.net/t/1253853/hd-5830-saphire-85 5830 for 85.

Bam..case closed. all tho you may want to read more into a SSD. Changed my life when i got one 5-6 months ago. Single biggest noticable speed increase I ever got on my pc.

*edit* http://www.overclock.net/t/1254275/5870-4890-8800-ultras-cheap 4890 for 70. Just saw this on the marketplace...I ran a 4890 for YEARS I would highly recommend one if you dont believe a ssd is worth it.

How much would my GT 430 even be?! it's a 96 core snack of a graphic card, I only bought it because it was on sale...

You should have no problem getting $30 out of it.

I'd sell The 430 GT and get a GTX 260 core 216(about 60$ used in the marketplace).

Of course if your overly concerned with DX11 or something don't get a GTX 260, but as of right now it still games very well on DX10 or DX9 at an awesome price.

You cannot beat a Crucial M4 for price to performance. 64gb are $79.99 on newegg right now and the difference in speed between the top dogs not noticable in real world performance only in synthetic tests. About 90% here on oc.net will recommend the M4 for the price to performance.

Our resident SSD Guru Sean Webster has written a top notch guide.

Here's a good start, a used GTS/x 450-460, also a 4870:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1256208/evga-gtx-460-super-clocked-gddr5-1gb/0_20

If you're after gaming performance nothing will beat an upgraded video card. The first one listed above is probably a good bet for you considering you don't want to overtax your PSU!! Now this is all assuming you have a good monitor with which to view your upgraded graphics. I can't honestly recommend getting anything less than a 24" - this seller is asking $100 for his s4" sammy:
