unexpected error for the second time of a fresh-installed Windows.

Thread Starter
hi...

it has been around a week so far since I reinstalled Windows and all the programs I need, Windows and all other installed programs are fully updated, that there is no update available for either of them now, the system is fully cleaned of junk and the like, and fully defragmened, using almost the best defragmentation software outthere (Diskeeper Premier Pro. 2011).

and this is the second time I get this error.

I left the computer to go fix the little fan we have, so I started messing up with it, the computer was still nearby me, after a while, I noticed that the screen went black, and as I know, this is normal, due to the sleep / hibernation function, right ??

well... after finishing the stuff I was doing, which took around 20 minutes, I came back to the PC, then moved the mouse to wake up the PC, but the screen didn't wake, pressed some keys on the keyboard to see the motherboard POST, the system was restarting, and when logged in to Windows, I got the "Windows has recovered... " message,

this is the second time this happens to me, and this time I just decided to ask you here about the problem,

I attached the XML file that may help you understand what's happening .

but couldn't attach the dump file, since when uploading I got a message telling me that uploading such a file is now allowed.

I have no errors with the RAM also.

WER-83912-0.sysdata.xml 219k .xml file

the dump file.zip 17k .zip file

EDIT now the dump file is attached after compressing in WinZip.

There's a dump file from BSOD'ing? I'd like to see that. It's saying it's not supported because you have to zip up the dump(s).

Note zip, cannot be a rar as OCN currently does not support rar files. If you still cannot upload it, try a third party hosting website of your choice and post the link here.

C2 bugcheck pointing to dxgmms1.sys (DirectX Kernel). I doubt it's actually DirectX causing the issue, but another 3rd party driver or hardware related, so let's enable Driver Verifier. Follow all of the instructions carefully. What DV will do is stress and carefully watch all 3rd party drivers and if it finds a driver culprit, it will force a crash and generate a verifier enabled dump file. If the verifier enabled dumps don't show any 3rd party drivers or anything different, it's likely hardware is causing the crash.

hardware related problems ?? like what do you think bro. ??

as I said above, I don't have RAM problems, since I already tested them, but as you mentioned something about DX issues, I suspect the graphics drivers, since it's the first time I see minor glitches with the Windows log in screen, that I haven't seen before since I first bought this card, but it seems like it started to happen with installing the latest Nvidia drivers to date.

I suspect this, because I remember that I had the same thing with my 7100GS GeForce card, that the driver was packaged with the card caused the same, and the when nVidia released a newer driver later, the problem didn't vanish, but it somehow improved, and with nVidia releasing drivers every month, I noticed that the problem vanished.

Give GPU drivers a reinstall as you're correct in stating GPU drivers can and will effect DirectX, especially if that's the probable cause.
