New to the world of computers

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I am new to the whole building computer scene. I am planning on buying a new computer for gaming. I am on newegg and I have customized a new computer. This is my first time building a computer and I dont know very much. I will be using this for gaming and school.

Here are a list of parts I am planning on using:
COOLER MASTER Elite 430 RC-430-KWN1 Black Steel / Plastic Computer Case

Samsung by Seagate Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ/ST500DM005 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Antec EarthWatts EA-500D Green 500W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL

BIOSTAR H61MGC LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i3-2120 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I32120

COOLER MASTER R4-BMBS-20PK-R0 Blade Master 120mm Case Fan

ASUS ENGTX550 TI DC/DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video ...

ASUS VS Series VS238H-P Black 23" 2ms HDMI LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor

LITE-ON DVD Burner - Bulk Black SATA Model iHAS124-04 - OEM

Will all these parts work with each other? Will this be able to run Diablo 3 well? Is there anything I should consider downgrading or upgrading? This is around 700 dollars and that is around my max budget.

First, Welcome to OCN! Next time please read the description of the forum before posting. This one is just for introductions.

I would post this up in the build logs forums to see what will happen. It looks though as if it should all work. However you are not maximizing your budget here.
