HAF X Case

Thread Starter
Hello,

After Adding a PSU and Also Keeping the PSU cable management block In the bottom of the case, Would I be able to mount a 360mm or 240mm Radiator on top of them? Trying to find the best configuration with enough radiators.

Kind regards

Jacob

Can you explain what you mean when you say "Would I be able to mount a 360mm or 240mm Radiator on top of them?". If you are referring to the top of the case then yes. If you don't mind losing all but one 5.25" bay then you could also stick another 360mm in there too. A single 360mm rad should be just enough for a highend CPU + GPU on the same loop.

I believe he literally means a radiator laying on top of the PSU and the plastic PSU shroud. I don't see why it wouldn't fit, you might have to take out your mobo headers and the side panel fan shroud might hit it. keep in mine you most likely wouldn't be able to screw it down to anything really without making a sketchy mount. If you don't have a ton of hard drive I would recommend taking out the HDD cage and adding another radiator there.

Hello,

Yeah that's what I meant, I meant on top of the PSU and the PSU Shroud - I was thinking about putting a 240mm on top of there and a 240mm at the top Inside the case - It's Just because then I'd be able to keep my 5.25 bay and have exactly the same amount of radiator in my machine. I will be water cooling two GPU's a Motherboard and a CPU so I need enough radiator. I did not want to expand out of the case to be honest. I do Get a triple radiator In that package so I'll have to measure and then possibly send that back and get two 240mm's

Kind regards

Why not put a 360 in the top of the case? That's what most people (including myself) do.

Just didn't really want to lose the bay to be honest but I may do, I'm Guna be ordering a 240 and 120 aswell so I'll have them spare and will be able to choose where to put them when they arrive

Thanks for your feedback

Ahh gotcha. That will work just fine too. As long as you have enough rad to cool your hardware you can split it up and put them anywhere you can fit it! Don't forget you can always mount then externally on the back if you're into that.

That's The Thing I don't really want to extend out of my case so I'm Guna have to be creative and find the best configuration inside the case and then Go from there smile.gif Thanks though, Hopefully it should end up In a Decent build! smile.gif

Kind regards

Put a 200 mm rad on the side pannel. It already has A 200mm fan just mount it there. Problem solved! biggrin.gif

you can take the harddrive rack out and mount a 200mm rad there as well but that means you lose your hdd rack and it is a lot of work compare.d to just mounting it on your side panelAlso
