Sadly enough people will buy this. But what happens when everyone gets these highlighted posts doesn't it all cancel out to first come first serve once again?

Thats why having social media is fail besides the whole invading your privacy and lying about it repeatedly thing. I dont really care though, if people are stupid enough to do this they don't really deserve their money anyway.

I don't think this will ever come close to the number of free posts, but even if it did they'd just add another price tier to top the top.

They might as well go ahead and create Facebook achievements while they're at it.

lol @ you buying into the cult of personality and then getting the epiphany.
Facebook's revenue is vastly off data mining for businesses.

This isn't targeted at you, the public. This is far more targeted towards businesses for marketing purposes. It's much like paying for search result prioritisation with search engines via third parties.

Many people need to get a grip of business reality.

Haha, this just reminded me of what was on the news the other night. 6 o clock evening news and they talked about how alot of people lie on their facebook profile. Shocking! LMAO. Every single day, we take a step back from intelligence.....shame. I've always thought if fb did something like this most of its users would simply stop using it. Time will tell.

I like how people are getting pissed about this and cancelling their facebook account, and bragging that they never created one. Can someone please tell me how this affects anyone? If it's not required that YOU spend money on facebook, who cares? And for those who are bashing on a company who started out small and created a multi billion dollar product, I just smell jelly there...
