Monitor Problem! PLEASE HELP.

Alright ill get right to the issue...

I have a 19" Optiquest Q91b LCD monitor.

I have been experiencing problems with it for a very long time but its just getting annoying now and I really wanna fix it.

PROBLEM

I turn my monitor on... and it sometimes just randomly turns itself off...

Sometimes it comes back on by itself... sometimes it does not.

I can always rehit the power button on the monitor and it comes back on.

Sometimes it doesnt do this for a whole day...

Sometimes it does it every 2 seconds...

I did some research online to see what it could be and I read it may be a bad capacitor problem...

However after I opened the monitor and inspected all capacitors they all seem perfectly fine.

Another thing is that this monitor has built in speakers (which ive never used) and has an OSD volume adjustment.

This volume meter just dances around randomly when it feels like as if a ghost is randomly highering and lowering the volume at its will...

Sometimes the volume OSD doesnt interfere and sometimes it is constantly dancing back and forward...

Problem is that it takes up a good portion of the screen with big bold yellow letters and a bunch of bars dancing right in the center of the screen.

Im getting tired of putting up with it and I wanna fix it without purchasing a new monitor or taking it to a shop. (dont have extra cash right now)

Can anyone with extensive knowledge in this area please help me out...

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Thanks.
