[D] EA kills free Battlefield 3 servers, pushes paid ones - Page 3

That's how it is on the PC so what's the issue here?

Console players asked for rented servers, EA delivered. Now EA can take servers offline and cut costs while offloading users to rented servers.

Im personally irritated to hell because I grew up playing Battlefield on the PC since 1942. THE PC GAMERS PAID FOR THEM TO GET WHERE THEY ARE NOW WITH BF3........And what they deliver is a peice of dubbed down console rubbish!

Just gonna be less BF3 players on console. Maybe they'll pull out of consoles completely next time and make that real BF2 sequel we've been waiting forever for.

Amen to that, Imo they should have kept BC on consoles and BF on the pc. Also no mods with bf3........Is EA afraid someone might show them up? Mods have always been one of the main things that made PC gaming different, mods extend the life of a game tenfold.

EA wants you to buy DLC like COD fanatics, and kill the game in 1-2 years to buy the next dodgy sequel.

That's really messed up. I usually lol at consoles, but this is beyond cheap on EA's part.
