Possible New Build...Worth The Outlay?

So...I am getting bored of my current system and seeing as i have never used an Intel setup before i have been looking at possible setups and this is what i was thinking about getting:

Motherboard : Asus Maximus IV Extreme R3.0
CPU : Intel Core i7 2600k
RAM : Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Low Profile Vengeance
Video Card : My current 470GTX (Maybe get a second for SLI)
Case : ??? Thinking Little Devil Case as i plan to get into WC

What do you guys think? Would that setup be better then my current setup? I currently play alot of games (Wow, Football Manager (Memory intensive) as well as games like Skyrim, Saints Row 3 and such as well as watching Videos/Movies and such I am planning on getting a BluRay drive as well

The only problems i can see having is transferring content mainly games over to the new hard drives that i think i would get. Thinking 2x1TB Samsung drives as well as a SSD for the OS the reason for getting new drives is partly down to the fact that i think they could be on the way out and that my current system (with new cheap graphics card) would likely go to a family member

Most my games are on Steam so dont really have any issues with that - Is Origin the same as i have BF3 as well? I am HOPING that i can just transfer the WOW folder over as i dont really want to have to download all the games all over again -.-

So guess wondering, would i see that much of a performance increase if i were to upgrade or should i just stick with what i have now and upgrade the RAM i know 100% at the very least i need more RAM as i am running over 50% of my 4GB RAM is being used with just Firefox open, it can hit the high 80s with Football Manager open on its own. Would i see that much of an increase in the other games i play?

I would say maybe go for Ivy Bridge-it's newer, with new features etc, and a bit better performance clock-for-clock too.
Something like a i7-3770k, and the Asus Maximus V Formula, which should be coming out soon-ish.

The "K" can overclock. Make sure you get either a 3770k or a 3570k.

Okay cheers, i had a feeling that the "K2 meant that, still not quite sure what the "S" stands for though.

one more thing.. the current ivy bridges got crappy tim under their IHS´es and runs very hot @ higher overclocks.
you maybe want to wait until they change this or you have to mod it by removing IHS and changing the TIM :/

http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/column/sebuncha/20120511_532119.html

another thing is that if you want to save money and wont watercool the board..just cpu/gpu you could take one of the ASRocks Z77 boards.
asus is a good brand but it became some kind of mercedes and you pay more for the name than for the product.

I WILL be WC it, just not right away - will likely go with one of those H100 coolers for the CPU for now before i get a WC setup done.
