Corsair H80... Noticed a Possible problem

Thread Starter
I built my new rig last weekend and it's been running great. I was waiting until this weekend to get into the back and do some good cable management on it to tidy everything up. When I was back there I noticed that one of the little prongs on my bracket for the H80 isnt going all the way through the hole on the botherboard. All the others are going all the way through. The cooler seems to be installed fine, but that bracket being a little off worries me.

Could it hurt anything? I have been getting 28 and 29 degrees C on idle for my temps...

Should I take the cooler off and try to fix the bracket? Or should it be fine??

Idle temps don't matter, it's your load temps that matter. What do you get on load?

Highest you want it to get on load temps is 80C. So you're running nice and cool, with around 30C headroom for overclocking.

Doesn't seem too bad mate. Probably nothing to worry about, as long as the screws seem like they hold in the bracket you should be ok.
