Thread Starter
Well i was looking at a Filco ninja keyboard i really like it cause i never really look down at the keys and i like that the letters and numbers are a little hidden but only place that sells em is used on Amazon that i can find anyway. the other keyboard i was looking at was the Max Nighthawk x9 but im having a tough time paying $150 for a keyboard. Any recommendations? preferably less than $125? smile.gif

$110 for a tenkeyless with cherry blues is a very nice price on a keyboard that well built. I admit to being a sucker for backlighting though so Ill stick with my Black Widow for a while longer but those Leopolds are very nice and at very reasonable prices.

what about a cm storm quickfire? http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-QuickFire-Mechanical-SGK-4000-GKCL1-US/dp/B0068INSUM/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1336796142&sr=1-1

Just got mine 2days ago and its a great keyboard so far, And just as good built as the filco. Which i also have the filco tenkeyless ninja cherry browns, But wanted blue switchs again in the tenkeyless, And didint want too spend 150$ again. Also has more featires like the media keys.

Hate the addiction of mech keyboards tho, Ever sense i got my first mech, I keep wanting to try more so Now i have like 8 mechs lol

But ya the cm storm quickfire is a good keyboard and too me just as good as the filco.

Totally agree. I dont necessarily have a mech fetish but just a keyboard or mouse fetish. Ive bought 4 mice in the last year and 2 keyboards (G510 and BWU). I know those arent the "elite" boards but I think theyre very cool. I swap between them all the time and cant seem to last more than a few weeks with one before I want to go to the other. I really want to try some different mechanicals too and try the different types of keys. I really like the blues that are on my Black Widow and I dont mind the click but Id like to see what else is out there. Problem is that I really like the back lighting of these 2 keyboards but there arent any mechs with back lighting.

Not to mention, Razer quality is total crap. If you want a keyboard that will last longer than 3 years, I'd suggest you buying a Leopold. The CM storm is a great alternative but personally all the logos are hideous.
