I've defended it about the aggresive profile of the fan, but if you want to do proper sleeving, stay away. http://www.overclock.net/t/1307713/bad-modular-design-silverstone-st45sf-g

I just bought a Strider 500 plus 500w modular PSU last month. It's not the same model but my trust in Silverstone is increasing over time. The HTPC I just built had room for an ATX supply but I went with this one because it was only 140mm long. The 450 seems like the same thing but SFX.

Thanks for posting these pics. The standard PSU and my Lian Li V354 are fighting for space right now, well not really, but this'll make things comfy smile.gif

HI,
have an Silverstone ft03 mini along with this psu, found my set up to be quite noisy so got a water cooler but the noise persisted even with one fan only.

Because I am new to computer building took me a few days to try and disconnect the case fan but the noise is still the same.
So is the psu supposed to be noisier then the fan???

There is no graphic card just one ssd, cpu and motherboard.

How could I know if my unit is faulty???
