[Cowcotland] Silverstone 450W Fully Modular SFX 80+ Gold rated PSU pictured - Page 10

3 way gtx 670 sli @ full load with an overclocked Core i7 965 Extreme = 583w

http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-670-2-and-3way-sli-review/4

Now ivy consumes even less power than the older nehelm series cpu's I would be comfortable running 670/680 sli on a good 600w psu,

The days for needing 1000w psu's with 4 way gtx 480 sli are nearly over for the majority of us. You dont need that much juice anymore

Only on OCN.

Your avatar explains yourself quite well. If you read more on PSU's, or in general, you would realize it's enough.

I'm going to be building a Bitfenix Prodigy with a Strider 500 Plus 500W Modular Power Supply. I am using a 448 core GTX560 and a 3570K . I would have used this PSU had I a place to order it. I used a PSU calculator and even with a GTX 580 I'd barely ever use over 400 watts. 80+ gold should give it rock solid performance according to my estimate. Also I think sleeving a molex to 6 pin PCI adapter is easy btw.

The 690 won't be able to run on a 450w psu.

the 590 was fine with 650w psu.... so the 690 should be fine with a 550-600w psu.

The st45sf-g has shown up in Asia for HK$ 740 which is about US$ 95.4.
Donno if its true, but its cheaper than the 110 Euros posted above.

Extremely legit. Expensive though, but it is pretty high end.

When does this thing go on sale in the US? Soon I hope...
