GTX 460m Sli overclock

Hi guys,

I have a alienware m18x with 460m sli, it has amazing cooling and never goes above 70 degrees C while overclocked.
I'm just curious would this be cosidered okay and safe?

Stock clock: Core Clock-675 Shade Clock-1350 memory Clock-1250

Highest average overclock settings: Core Clock-830 Shade Clock-1600 memory Clock-1500

Lol get ready for this.

My overclock settings with no artifacting: Core clock - 1100 shade clock - 1700 - memory clock 1500

However i dont currently run this, but i know for a fact that it works. Safe?

Thanks ahead of time

I can get you one, I'm not at my computer at the moment, that's the highest i've gone with no artifacting. I'm almost positive it goes further as well. Expect a screen within the hour. I also have not changed any voltages

As long as you don't change the voltage you won't really get much heat increase, and as long as temps are fine I wouldn't worry. However I'd use MSI Afterburner to OC, not Nvidia CP..

Open GPU-Z, are those settings actually being applied?

I take it that for source atleast, faster graphics memory is the main reason the fps increase isnt that much higher than the other overclock
